Job summary

WSP is seeking a Technical Director – Aviation / Aviation Lead to drive growth and technical excellence across New Zealand. You will lead the aviation service line, working with clients to deliver world-class design and project management across Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in related fields with 5+ years in aviation management, a track record in business development, and strong leadership across multi-project environments.

Qualifications

10+ years in a related discipline.
5+ years in aviation-related management.
Proven ability to develop new business and increase revenue.
Strong project delivery experience with commercial awareness.
Experience coordinating resources and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Instil a client-centric ethos in the aviation service line leveraging local and global know-how.
Provide operational management and leadership to maximise commercial, people and project outcomes.
Engage with clients to grow opportunities and build pipeline.
Develop and implement multi-discipline service offerings across the country.
Monitor project performance to ensure client outcomes are achieved.
Provide leadership on project teams while following PM procedures.
Apply technical capability to deliver services to clients through projects.
