Job summary

King Toyota in Lower Hutt, Wellington, is hiring an Automotive Service Technician with AVI for a full-time role. The technician will service and repair vehicles, perform tests to identify defects, and work closely with service advisors.

A NZQA Level 4 qualification and one year of experience are required. You will be part of a supportive team with a minimum 40 hours per week, and may access ongoing Toyota New Zealand training on modern and hybrid tech.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified Automotive Technician with NZQA Level 4 qualification.
• At least one year of experience as an Automotive Technician.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of vehicle systems.
• Repairs and mechanical work.
• Test driving vehicles to determine defects.
• Liaising with service advisors.
