Job summary

Everest People is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians for current or future opportunities in Hamilton or Rotorua. If you have hands-on servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 4 automotive qualification or 3+ years’ industry experience, strong diagnostic skills, the ability to use manufacturer tools, and good English communication. Experience with VW, Škoda, BMW, Audi, Porsche, MG, Kia or BYD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Level 4 automotive qualification or 3+ years’ industry experience
• High standard of mechanical workmanship and attention to detail
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across light or commercial vehicles
• Ability to use manufacturer diagnostic systems and tools
• Understanding of manufacturer repair procedures and warranty processes
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills
• WOF certification or willingness to work towards it
• Master Technician qualification, especially VW Group brands; EV tech is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Serve and maintain vehicles to required standards
• Perform diagnostics and mechanical repairs across light or commercial vehicles
• Use manufacturer diagnostic systems and tools
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and warranty processes
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal English
