Job summary

Rutherford & Bond Toyota in Wellington is seeking a fully qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will service and maintain vehicle systems, perform repairs and mechanical work, and test drive vehicles to diagnose defects, liaising with service advisors.

The role requires a NZQA Level 4 automotive qualification and at least one year of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a NZ Drivers Licence.

Qualifications

• NZQA level 4 automotive technician qualification is required.
• One year of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• WOF certification or willingness to obtain.

Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic

Rutherford & Bond Toyota is looking for an Automotive Technician to join our Wellington team on a full time basis.

The Role:

• Servicing and maintenance of vehicle systems
• Repairs and mechanical work
• Test driving vehicles to determine defects
• Liaising with service advisors

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Accuracy and quality focused
• Strong work ethic and enjoy a challenge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• New Zealand Drivers Licence
• We are looking for someone with their WOF certification or someone willing to become certified.
