Job summary

Rutherford & Bond Toyota in Wellington is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will service and maintain vehicle systems, perform repairs, and test drive to identify defects, working closely with service advisors to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a NZQA Level 4 qualification, be fully qualified, and have at least one year of experience. WOF certification or willingness to obtain it is required; NZ Driver's Licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have NZQA Level 4 qualification for Automotive Technician.
• One year of experience as an Automotive Technician or equivalent.
• WOF certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of vehicle systems.
• Repairs and mechanical work as required.
• Test driving vehicles to determine defects.
• Liaising with service advisors to coordinate work.

The Role:

• Servicing and maintenance of vehicle systems
• Repairs and mechanical work
• Test driving vehicles to determine defects
• Liaising with service advisors

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• New Zealand Drivers Licence
• We are looking for someone with their WOF certification or someone willing to become certified.
