Job summary

Wheeler Motor Company in Christchurch, South Island, is seeking a qualified general mechanic to join a fast-growing automotive team. You will perform vehicle checks, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs, supported by an experienced management and administration team.

Live in NZ and hold unconditional work rights. A WOF ticket would be a bonus, and you should be a reliable, professional team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working with modern software and tools.

Qualifications

• Must live in NZ and have unconditional work rights in NZ.
• WOF ticket or intention to obtain one is a bonus.
• Reliable, enthusiastic team player with professionalism and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines.
• Confident using computers and basic software.
• Full valid driver’s licence and ability to drive a manual car.
• Qualified general mechanic.
