Job summary

JobSpace is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer in Auckland to join an agile development team. The role focuses on modern frontend, backend and cloud environments with strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing.

Knowledge of C# and SpecFlow would be highly beneficial as you help set up the test strategy and ensure reusable, scalable frameworks across CI/CD pipelines. You will test backend and frontend applications, contribute to performance testing scenarios, and

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing with a focus on automation and manual testing.
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of C# and SpecFlow is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure testing deliverables are effective and measurable.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the System Test strategy.
• Work with a dynamic team to test backend and frontend applications.
• Ensure test frameworks are fit for purpose and CI/CD aligned.
• Treat automation code as production code with reusable standards.
• Set up performance tests and simulate loads for concurrent users.
