As a Test Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability by developing and supporting the test systems used throughout manufacturing. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you'll work across electronics, software, and manufacturing, solving technical challenges, supporting production, and contributing to the successful introduction of new products. As a member of our Test Engineering team, you'll design, build, maintain, and improve production test equipment used across our manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing, building, and commissioning production test jigs and equipment.
  • Developing hardware and software solutions to meet manufacturing test requirements.
  • Supporting and maintaining existing test systems and equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults, resolving technical issues, and minimising production downtime.
  • Collaborating with Product Development and Manufacturing teams to define test requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Driving continuous improvements to test capability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Participating in an on‑call roster, with standby and call‑out allowances provided.
About You

You're a practical, solutions‑focused engineer who enjoys getting hands‑on and tackling complex technical challenges. You can balance day‑to‑day production support with project work and enjoy working closely with others to deliver great outcomes.

What you'll bring:
  • Experience with electronic design, including analogue, digital, and RF circuitry.
  • Software development experience using languages such as Python, C, or VB.
  • Experience working with microcontrollers or single‑board computers, such as Arduino.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving skills.

  • A collaborative approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • A tertiary qualification in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
