Job summary

Expert360 in New Zealand is seeking two Quality Engineers to join a large-scale technology modernization programme in Auckland. You will perform end-to-end testing across manual and automation streams, with a roughly 50/50 split between the two to suit project needs.

Note this role requires working through part of the Christmas/New Year period, with go-live targeted for February 2027. Strong .NET and Playwright experience are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Strong .NET experience.
• Hands-on Playwright experience (UI automation).
• Genuine comfort with both manual and automated testing.
• RestSharp / API automation experience (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing across manual and automation streams with ~50/50 split.
• Ramp up quickly and contribute meaningfully within the first weeks.

Please note this role requires working through part of the Christmas/New Year period, given the tight timeline to go-live (targeted for end of February 2027).

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong .NET experience
• Hands-on Playwright experience (UI automation)
• Genuine comfort working across both manual and automated testing
• RestSharp / API automation experience (advantageous)
• Prior experience testing within lending or financial services (highly advantageous)
• Ability to ramp up quickly and contribute meaningfully within the first few weeks
