Job summary

Teradyne, a global leader in test and automation, is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our NPI group in Engineering, driving development and deployment of automated test and calibration systems used throughout product development and manufacturing.

You will own lifecycle from concept to deployment, collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing, and contribute to product quality, efficiency and measurement capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or CS field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience developing automated test or calibration systems.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with electronic and optical test instrumentation.
• Experience in manufacturing test systems and NPI.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve automated test and calibration systems using Python and related tools.
• Design calibration methodologies and automated test workflows for new products.
• Integrate lab and manufacturing instrumentation into automated test systems.
• Develop and maintain test software, configurations, and documentation.
• Support DVT, PVT and production qualification activities.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce test time and increase throughput.
