Job summary

EmployMe Solutions in Auckland is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for a family-owned business that supports construction, agriculture, and trucking equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical issues on heavy-duty vehicles, work on-site and in the field, and service a range of gear from trucks to excavators and tractors.

You’ll enjoy a hands-on role with good pay, a company vehicle, overtime, and a culture that values teamwork and practical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (or similar heavy vehicle electrical experience).
• Background in diagnostics, fault-finding, and electrical system repairs.
• Ability to work independently on site with confidence and a solid work ethic.
• Good communicator who can talk tools with the best of them.
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence – Class 2 and WTR would be icing on the circuit board.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in a range of heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment.
• Working on-site and out in the field – variety is the name of the game.
• Getting hands-on with trucks, excavators, tractors, and more.
• Keeping the spark alive (literally) in everything from starter motors to full rewires.
