Job summary

Mr Apple is seeking a dedicated compliance professional to support audit readiness and ensure regulatory and customer assurance across Orchard and Post Harvest operations in New Zealand.

You will translate requirements into practical procedures, maintain records, and collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements while growing your compliance expertise. This role offers structured development and opportunities to progress within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, quality assurance, food safety, auditing, sustainability or another regulated operational environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage evidence, documentation and deadlines accurately.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 and learning new systems and processes.
• Experience within food production, horticulture, animal products or export supply chains would be advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications are welcomed, however practical hands‑on experience is equally valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate audit preparation, evidence collation and follow-up activities across regulatory, customer and certification programmes.
• Support compliance requests and assurance reporting across Orchard and Post Harvest operations.
• Monitor compliance schedules, corrective actions and key deadlines to ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in site inspections, internal audits and compliance reviews while helping identify and address improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with operational teams to translate compliance requirements into practical solutions and consistent ways of working.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and assurance evidence within approved systems.
• Develop broad compliance capability across both Orchard and Post Harvest functions, progressively taking ownership of key programmes.
