Job summary

Grant Thornton New Zealand is seeking an experienced audit professional to join our Wellington team. You will work closely with Partners and Managers, contributing to diverse external audits across industry sectors, and supervising junior staff to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years External audit experience.
• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) in progress.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office experience.
• Solid organisation and time management.
• Experience managing multiple audits simultaneously.
• Ability to have fun.

About The Role

We are seeking authentic team members who understand technical aspects and are confident to suggest new or better ways of doing things. We have an open and honest, trusting environment that supports staff development and believe that this enables us to provide quality client service.

You will work closely with experienced Managers, Directors and Partners across a variety of industry sectors, liaising directly with the clients and supervising more junior team members. You will build strong relationships with clients and ask questions that cut to the heart of their business in order to understand the risk, responding with technical expertise, intuition and insight.

What You'll Be Doing
