Job summary

Convergint Asia Pacific in Auckland is seeking a full-time, customer-focused Project Manager to support planning, implementation and coordination of various minor works projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering, field service or project management experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, persuade and influence.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Willingness to take ownership and learn new tasks.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate minor works projects from award to completion, within budget.
• Translate client needs into detailed proposals and implementation plans; review costs; support sales.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact.
• Establish project milestones and monitor costs; report on deviations and productivity.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, and services for timely completion.
• Collaborate with Sales and draft change order proposals as needed.
• Communicate requirements clearly to the project team; maintain records.
