Job summary

WM New Zealand, a leading resource recovery, recycling and waste services provider, is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager for our Auckland Commercial Collections team in East Tamaki. The role focuses on delivering outcomes with strong safety and performance leadership.

You will manage service delivery, lead and develop the team, ensure compliant processes, and maintain equipment to meet customer needs while driving continuous improvement and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational service delivery with efficient use of labour and equipment resources.

• Ensure operational and administrative processes comply with business practices (e.g., payroll, safety activities).
• Maintain site equipment and advise on equipment needs to ensure effective service delivery.
• Investigate and manage vehicle incidents, property damage and injuries in the workplace.
