Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Solution Engineer in Auckland, New Zealand, with expertise in Cloud Security, IoT, Networking, Linux, Security Surveillance and Access Control. You will partner with Account Executives to expand Verkada’s footprint into Fortune 500 companies and design deployments with Verkada products.

The role is currently remote and based in Auckland, with a forthcoming transition to a hybrid office. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Cybersecurity, or related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and L2 devices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements and design system solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales to qualify opportunities and translate needs into specifications.
• Lead product demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a technical SME across Product, Support, Marketing, and Enablement.
• Travel up to 25%.
