Job summary

Enviro NZ in Taupo is seeking a Class 2/4 Driver to join our full-time Taupo team, working Monday to Saturday. You will be trained to operate our range of trucks to collect refuse and manage bin deliveries and removals, while maintaining high safety standards.

Candidates should hold a clean Class 4 licence (ideally) or class 2 with manual, have at least six months of professional truck driving experience, and be able to work in NZ with appropriate visa status.

Qualifications

• Hold a clean Class 4 licence (ideally) or class 2 with manual.
• Minimum 6 months proven truck driving experience.
• Pass internal Driver Trainer assessments annually.
• Know the Taupo geographical area well.
• NZ citizenship/residence/open work visa required; be in NZ at application time.
• Pre-employment health assessment including drug test and Ministry of Justice check may apply.

Responsibilities

• Be cross-trained on our trucks.
• Operate trucks to collect refuse and deliver/remove bins.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
• Work within a close-knit team with supportive managers and regular team catch-ups.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to keep you and the public safe.

Our Taupo team is looking for a Class 2 and 4 Driver to join our team on a full-time basis working Monday to Saturday.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will:

• Be fully trained to operate safely our range of industry specific trucks to collect refuse and deliver and remove bins to/from our valued customers.
• Take responsibility for completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard

• You'll comply with high levels of health & safety to keep yourself and the public safe at all times.

The ideal candidates for these roles will:

• hold a clean Class 4 licence ( ideally) or class 2 and can drive manual
• have a minimum 6 months of proven truck driving experience in a professional role
• Pass our internal Driver Trainer assessments on an annual basis
• Confidently know the geographical area around Taupo
• have good level of physical fitness and sound understanding of Health & Safety and NZTA's Worktime and Logbook requirements
• have NZ citizenship, residence or open work visa and be in NZ at the time of their application

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drug test) and complete a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal records check.
