Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking experienced auditors at Senior Associate level to join our Assurance team. In this full-time role, you’ll deliver high-quality external audits for both public and private sector clients, mentor junior staff, and partner with local and global teams to uphold rigorous audit standards.

You’ll work across diverse engagements, leveraging IFRS knowledge and strong communication skills to build trusted relationships, while growing your technical expertise in a supportive,

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience delivering external audit engagements within a complex, regulated environment.
  • Professionally qualified or actively working towards a recognized accounting qualification (CAANZ, CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to end-to-end external audit engagements, including coaching, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS.
  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

We’reseeking experienced auditors to join our Assurance team at Senior Associate level across PwC New Zealand office locations. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality external audit engagements across a diverse public and private sector client portfolio, working with leading local and global organisations. This full-time role (Monday – Friday, minimum 37.5 hours per week) offers increased responsibility, direct client engagement, and opportunities to mentor junior team members, all within a supportive, values-led environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your external audit experience, ideally gained within a large, globally recognized professional services or audit firm.
