Fluid Recruitment is assisting a respected Nelson law firm to recruit a Senior Lawyer to lead its Private Client and Trust practice. You will advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and commercial clients on trusts, succession planning, wills, and related matters, with a view toward partnership for the right candidate.

The role emphasizes collaborative client service, professional excellence, and long-term relationships within a supportive, growth-oriented firm.

The Opportunity:

An exceptional opportunity exists for a Senior Lawyer to lead the firm's Private Client and Trust practice. You'll work closely with high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and commercial clients on matters including:

• Establishment and restructuring of trusts.
• Comprehensive succession planning and estate management.
• Drafting and advising on wills and enduring powers of attorney.
• Asset protection and intergenerational wealth planning.
• Contentious trust and estate issues, including residential care subsidies and PPPR Act applications.
