Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte Ltd in Otago, New Zealand, seeks a hands-on Supply Chain professional to balance inventory planning, purchasing, logistics coordination, and SAP system support. The role ensures local and imported products are available when needed and that operations run smoothly.

You will liaise with HQ and factories, prepare and monitor POs, maintain SAP master data, and act as the key user for SAP and related tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain, inventory planning, or purchasing processes.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory planning and purchasing for local and imported products.
• Liaise with HQ / factory to ensure timely product delivery and stock availability.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and vendor confirmations.
• Serve as the key user and main point of contact for Supply Chain systems (SAP, FA-GSCM, MMEG).
• Maintain SAP master data and troubleshoot system/interface issues.
• Manage inbound shipments, 3PL providers, customs documentation, trade compliance, and freight insurance.
• Drive process improvements and support audit and compliance activities.
