Job summary

Skechers Dunedin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading daily store operations and achieving sales goals. You’ll coach the team, drive exceptional customer experiences, and ensure visual standards and stock management are top notch.

Ideal candidates are emerging retail leaders with experience in senior sales roles, a proactive mindset, and a passion for developing people in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior sales assistant, full-time, or leadership support role (e.g., Key Holder, Supervisor, 3IC, ASM).
• Proactive attitude and strong desire to grow leadership skills.
• Passion for team development and delivering great customer experiences.
• Ability to drive sales and meet performance targets.
• Familiarity with stock management, visual merchandising, and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Inspire and guide the team to deliver exceptional customer service and performance.
• Assist with visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation.
• Help manage wage costs and contribute to rostering.
• Mentor and coach team members to support growth and development.
• Maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
