Job summary

Bapcor New Zealand is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our branch in Rangiora. You will serve as the right-hand to the Branch Manager, overseeing daily operations, guiding a diverse team, and driving strong commercial results.

You will manage customer service, warehouse, and delivery activities, fostering a safe and efficient workplace. A supportive culture includes growth opportunities with the parent company and competitive incentives.

• Customer service experience in automotive or trade industry is a plus
• Basic Excel skills are advantageous

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated people leader to take on the role of Assistant Branch Manager at our branch!

As the right-hand to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving branch success — overseeing daily operations, supporting a diverse team, and helping deliver strong commercial results.

You’ll help to lead a varied team including customer service representatives, drivers, warehouse assistants and the day-to-day internal operational activities in the branch. Plus, you’ll be in control of Customer Service, warehouse and delivery functions. Your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and customer-focused workplace.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)
