Hydraulink Fluid Connectors Ltd is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Penrose based Finance team. This newly created role supports growth and strengthens finance processes, reporting and systems.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver accurate financial information, provide business insight, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows. This role offers the chance to move beyond transactional accounting and make a tangible impact in a growing

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical accounting experience.
• Qualified in accounting, CA or CPA study preferred.
• Strong across financial accounting, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Excel proficiency with Pivot Tables and Lookups.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems.
• Analytical, commercially minded and solutions-focused.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicating financial information and building relationships.
• Curious and motivated to improve and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and variance reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Manage bank reconciliations and fixed assets.
• Support statutory and tax compliance and year-end reporting.
• Provide backup across Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Drive process improvement, reporting automation and efficiency.
