Job summary

New Zealand Oil Services Limited (NZOSL) in Wellington seeks an Assets and Engineering Advisor to support the asset management programme and drive engineering improvements across terminals. The role collaborates with assets, maintenance and operations teams to ensure robust data, documentation and systems for safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate is a tertiary-qualified engineer (Mechanical / Process / Chemical) with asset management experience, capable of analyzing problems,

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent with relevant experience.
Experience in asset management, maintenance, or operations.
Ability to analyse problems and implement practical solutions.
Comfort with systems, data, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of the asset management and engineering programme.
Lead improvements to engineering processes, procedures, standards and systems.
Deliver engineering projects across terminal network.
Support safety-critical elements and controls assurance.
Manage actions from audits, HAZOPs and incident investigations.
Maintain robust asset data and technical information.
Build relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
