Job summary

Vitaco is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the Engineering and Maintenance function across multiple manufacturing sites in New Zealand. You will develop and execute the Asset Management Strategy, embed RCM, and drive reliability, safety and cost improvements while leading a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Extensive FMCG/manufacturing leadership across multiple sites.
• Proven RC-Maintenance and asset management experience.
• Strong budgeting and capital planning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering and Maintenance across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Develop and maintain Asset Management System and governance.
• Drive reliability improvements using RCA, FMEA and defect elimination.
• Embed a best-in-class Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) framework.
• Lead budgeting, maintenance planning and asset replacement strategies.
• Drive spare parts optimisation and inventory governance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Capital Projects and Quality teams to deliver outcomes.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are met.
