Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an Asset Engineer to shape the design of a major Northland transport corridor in New Zealand. You will support asset assessment, maintenance planning, and long-term operation strategies within a PPP project environment.

You will work across disciplines with experienced asset, design and operations teams, influencing design decisions and ensuring safety and value across the asset life cycle.

Qualifications

• Review asset designs for safety, maintainability and life-cycle performance.
• Interpret drawings and specs; inspect infrastructure delivery and commissioning readiness.
• Develop operations and maintenance documentation with clear procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review asset designs for safety, maintainability and whole-of-life performance.
• Prepare operational documentation and review asset information for handover.
• Inspect construction work and monitor progress against operational requirements.
• Assess asset performance and risks, and investigate defects and failures.
• Support commissioning and operational readiness ahead of the operations phase.
• Plan asset renewals and identify lifecycle improvements.
