Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering major transport infrastructure in New Zealand, including the Northland Corridor project. We are seeking an Asset Engineer to shape design reviews and lifecycle outcomes in a PPP environment.

You will work across asset management, design and operations, ensuring safety, maintainability and value over whole life, while developing your career alongside experienced professionals on a landmark project.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management, infrastructure or related discipline.
• Experience in infrastructure engineering, asset management, maintenance or operations on complex assets.
• Understanding of lifecycle, reliability, maintainability and whole-of-life principles.

Responsibilities

• Review asset designs for safety, maintainability and whole-of-life performance.
• Prepare operational documentation and review asset information for handover.
• Inspect construction work and monitor progress against operational requirements.
• Assess asset performance and risks, and investigate defects and failures.
• Support commissioning and operational readiness ahead of the operations phase.
• Plan asset renewals and identify ways to improve lifecycle outcomes.
