Job summary

Morson Edge in Christchurch is recruiting an Assembly Mechanic to join our aerospace client on a 6-month contract. You will construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components on site.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and may include apprenticeship or formal training. You will work under supervision with shift hours Monday to Thursday 6:30am–3pm and Friday 6:30am–11:30am, and must pass a drug screening.

Qualifications

Role Overview

This role requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. You may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. You may require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.

Role Requirements

Our clients are looking for someone who has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3pm

Friday 6:30am - 11:30am
