Archway Recruitment in Wellington is seeking an experienced Registered Architect to lead projects, manage client and consultant relationships, and produce high-quality design and documentation. You will represent the practice in meetings and on site, helping grow the Wellington studio with a clear path toward studio and wider leadership within NZ's established national practice.

The role requires NZ registration, 4+ years post-registration, and strong Revit, design, and contract administration

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Architect with 4+ years post-registration
• Bachelor/Master of Architecture or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of NZ construction regulations
• Proficient in Revit for design and documentation
• Proven leadership and client-facing experience
• Experience with contract administration and site work
• Confident communicator with leadership potential
• Self-motivated and proactive

The Role

This established architectural practice has studios across NZ and is now looking to strengthen its Wellington team. With a broad project portfolio across commercial, industrial, education, public and residential and supportive national network, this is an opportunity to join a well-established practice while playing a key role locally.

Seeking an experienced Registered Architect ready to take the next step in your career. You will lead projects, manage client and consultant relationships, produce high-quality design and documentation, and represent the practice in meetings and on site. Importantly, you will also help grow the Wellington studio, with a genuine long-term opportunity to progress into studio and wider business leadership.

Role Requirements

• NZ Registered Architect, ideally with 4+ years post-registration experience
• BArch, MArch or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the NZ construction industry and regulations
• Strong Revit capability
• Proven project leadership and client-facing experience
• Strong design and technical documentation skills
• Contract administration and site experience
• Confident communicator with leadership potential
• Proactive, self-motivated approach
