Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Lakes in the Bay of Plenty is seeking a Psychiatric Registrar to work across Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals. You will rotate through Tauranga Hospital with a 13-week period in Whakatāne Hospital and participate in a RANZCP-accredited training program.

This position offers exposure to diverse clinical settings, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for both basic and advanced psychiatry training, with access to regional professional development.

Competenze

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification and full MCNZ registration.
• Interest in psychiatry and commitment to pursuing RANZCP-accredited training.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

You will hold an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification, and full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). A keen interest in psychiatry and a dedication to pursuing RANZCP-accredited training are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are key.
