Job summary

Green by Nature NZ is seeking a Qualified Arborist to join our Queenstown team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work from the Queenstown depot under the Senior Arborist, handling pruning, shaping, tree care and removals while maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Arboriculture - Level 3 (or equivalent) and have a proven practical experience.
• You will demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely.
• You will be reliable, punctual, cooperative, and maintain positive working relationships.
• You will have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• You will be committed to being part of a wider team with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Pruning, shaping and tree care, tree removals, tree reductions and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
• Take ownership of day-to-day arb team activities to achieve excellence and pride in their work.
• Work at the Queenstown depot and report to the Senior Arborist.
• Be part of a team with strong health and safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job description

We are looking for a Qualified Arborist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Based at our Queenstown depot, you will be reporting to theSenior Arborist,contributing to the arb team's day-to-day activities to achieve excellence and pride in what they do. You will maintain a hands‑on approach, taking ownership of all areas of responsibility which include but not limited pruning, shaping and tree care, tree removals, tree reductions and maintenance of all tools and equipment.

About you
