Job summary

TVNZ is seeking an AR and Virtual Production Graphics Designer to design creative 3D augmented reality and virtual production graphics for 1News, Current Affairs, Sport, and other studio productions. Reporting to Blacksand Design Lead, you will bring stories to life with visually compelling graphics.

You’ll contribute to the creative environment, support the wider graphics team with visuals and ideation, and collaborate across productions to deliver engaging on-screen graphics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in 3D/virtual production/Unreal Engine and Cinema 4D.
• Excellent 3D design and composition skills for visual storytelling.
• Experience with full 3D design pipeline: modelling, texturing, animation, lighting.
• Familiar with greenscreen integration and keying hardware is beneficial.
• Ability to work within brand design guidelines and templates.
• Clear communicator and proactive team player.
• Willingness to take feedback and deliver to briefs.
