Selwyn Aquatic Centre in Rolleston, Canterbury, is seeking dedicated lifeguards for a full-time role on a rotating roster. You will help run the newly extended facility, coordinate with staff, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all users.
The role offers paid lifeguard training leading to a nationally recognised qualification, opportunities to develop customer service and safety skills, and a community-focused workplace just 25km from Christchurch.

Enjoy an active role in our Aquatic Centre where you will play an important part in the day to day running of our recently extended and modern facility. This is a full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) working a set roster. As you work as part of our team you will have
Our ideal candidate will have genuine interest in aquatics or sport and recreation. We will provide fully paid Lifeguard training where you will gain a nationally recognised qualification, a high level of motivation and be keen to learn.
You will also have:
200m continuously in less than 6 mins
50m breaststroke
25m side stroke
5 minutes treading water.
Picking up an object from deepest part of pool (2m)
