Job summary

Breen Construction in Queenstown, Otago, is offering an apprenticeship path for aspiring carpenters. Working under experienced Foremen, you will support the construction of diverse projects and gain skills to become a fully qualified carpenter.

The main work location is Wanaka, with occasional assignments across Otago. Applicants should be good communicators with numeracy and literacy skills, a safety mindset, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support carpenters and foremen on site with tasks as directed
• Learn and perform carpentry duties to BCITO training requirements
• Assist with safety practices and site housekeeping
• Complete required learning modules and assessments for apprenticeship
• Flexibility to travel to Otago and Wanaka as needed
