- Process all inbound and outbound freight (honey, boxes, drums) in line with SOPs.
- Assist the Extraction Supervisor with honey box management and daily filling of the hot room.
- Maintain accurate records of freight movements and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Work with the Extraction Supervisor to ensure boxes are organised with the correct paperwork.
- Ensure accuracy and traceability of honey boxes from arrival through to storage.
- Assist the Extraction Supervisor with the decontamination and loading of pallets.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Communicate and work effectively to process the arrival and return of full/empty honey boxes.
- Coordinate arrival and dispatch of empty/full honey drums to storage or warehouses.
- Accurately record arrival and dispatch details to ensure traceability and compliance.
Fleet & Tools Maintenance
- Work with the Apiculture Operations Manager and service suppliers to coordinate maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles and tools.
- Ensure company tools are properly stored, serviced, and available for operational needs.
- Maintain logs of vehicle servicing and tool repairs.
Property Maintenance
- Carry out property repairs and maintenance, engaging trade partners when required.
- Maintain company grounds including lawns, weeds, and trees.
- Ensure safe and effective use of company tools.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Adhere to all SOPs and health & safety requirements.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow safe operating procedures.
- Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Support audits and inspections as required.
Seasonal Flexibility
- Provide support during peak apiculture activities, including hive site work, honey harvest and extraction of honey.
- Adapt to seasonal workload variations and assist other apiculture teams when required.
- Manage the processing of raw wax from extraction and beekeeper into wax blocks
Non-Seasonal Duties
- Assist with cleaning of honey drums and apiculture assets.
- Perform thorough post-season cleaning of facilities, ensuring all equipment and areas meet cleanliness standards.

Skills & Experience
Strong organisational skills - accurate record keeping for freight, box tracking, and drum identification
Valid forklift licence - safe unloading and loading of trucks, movement of boxes, drums, and consumables
Handyman/maintenance - complete basic repairs, upkeep buildings, and maintain tools and equipment
Property and grounds - maintenance skills including lawns, weeds, trees
Full drivers licence - Drive between depo's, vehicles to service (Class 2 would is preferred but not essential)
