Our client is one of Aotearoa’s leading for-purpose organisations, delivering services across mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, wellbeing and housing. They are looking for an AOD Clinician to join their Papakura-based team in a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week (48 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday.
This is an opportunity to work within a community-based Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) service supporting adults aged 18 and over.
The service takes a flexible, community-focused approach, meeting people in places where they feel safe and comfortable – including whānau homes, local parks and community living environments.
You’ll work as part of a dual Peer Support and Clinician model, partnering closely and equally with Peer Support Specialists. Together, you’ll provide holistic, culturally responsive assessment, treatment and outreach that recognises the individual, their strengths and their recovery goals.
