Job summary

Commerce Commission in Auckland/Wellington is seeking an Assistant Analyst or Analyst to analyse data and provide evidence-based regulatory insights. Two roles exist: a 9-month fixed-term in Groceries and a permanent role in Dairy, Fuel and Payments.

Base salary bands are publicly listed and will reflect experience and relativities within the organisation. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, gather information, and deliver informed advice to decision makers.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in economics, statistics, finance, or related field.
• Experience analysing data and drawing insights.
• Ability to evaluate evidence and support regulatory decisions.
• Experience in policy, regulatory, analytical, financial, or operational settings.

Responsibilities
