Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Tauranga Hospital is seeking an Anaesthetic Technician for a fixed term 0.75 FTE, based in Tauranga. You will join a busy, supportive perioperative team delivering high-quality anaesthetic assistance across surgical specialties.

Whether an experienced technician or a new graduate, you will receive tailored orientation and ongoing support while working in a 24/7 service with rotating rosters to ensure safe patient care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised Anaesthetic Technician qualification or ODA/ODP Level III.
• Experience in providing safe, high-quality anaesthetic assistance across settings.
• Strong communication and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotating roster and contribute to a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality anaesthetic support across surgical specialties.
• Prepare and maintain perioperative equipment and assist clinicians.
