Advanced Personnel Limited is seeking experienced Aluminium Fabricators and Installers for long-term residential, commercial and construction projects across Southland. Join a busy, supportive team, gain hands-on experience and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

We require 2+ years in aluminium joinery, strong reading of technical drawings, and a safety-focused approach. Immediate start, with hours ranging up to 60 per week and a standard weekly minimum of 30 hours.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience (qualification preferred but not compulsory).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience handling, cutting, assembling, and glazing aluminium joinery.
Ability to read technical drawings, job sheets, and cutting lists accurately.
Commitment to safety guidelines, productivity and high-quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and prepare metal stock.
Cut and shape metal sections using hand tools, torches and cutting machines.
Shape, bend and align metal components; join sections using welding, bolts or rivets.
Inspect welds for bead width, penetration and precision; finish products by cleaning and polishing.
Select and fabricates structural steel and other metal stock for boilers and vessels.
