Tradestaff Northwest Auckland is seeking an experienced Aluminium Joinery Installer / Fabricator to join a respected client in Auckland. You'll work on commercial pathways, architectural residential installations and factory fabrication, delivering high-quality joinery across varied projects.

Applicants should have proven experience in both installation and fabrication, the ability to read drawings, strong attention to detail, and a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in both commercial aluminium joinery installation and fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of commercial joinery systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot and find practical solutions.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others; valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing commercial aluminium windows and doors to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Working on architectural residential installations and factory fabrication.
• Measuring, cutting, assembling and glazing aluminium joinery.
• Checking site conditions, dimensions and installation requirements.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Working alongside builders, site managers and other trades to solve challenges and keep projects moving.
• Maintaining excellent workmanship, safe work practices and sharing knowledge with the team.

Pay rate: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay

• Proven experience in BOTH commercial aluminium joinery installation and fabrication is essential.
• Strong knowledge of commercial joinery systems and installation techniques.
• Confidence reading technical drawings and working accurately to specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot and find practical solutions.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
• A current driver's licence.
