Job summary

Advanced Personnel in Invercargill is seeking experienced fabricators/welders for engineering and manufacturing opportunities across Invercargill.

Role requirements include MIG, TIG, ARC or Flux Core welding, steel fabrication and reading engineering drawings, with strong cutting, measuring, fitting and assembly skills, plus attention to detail and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' fabrication/welding experience.
• Experience with MIG / TIG / ARC / FCAW.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Structural steel, heavy fabrication or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating steel components and structures.
• MIG, TIG, ARC and/or Flux Core welding.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

We’re looking for tradespeople experienced in MIG, TIG, ARC or Flux Core welding, steel fabrication and reading engineering drawings. You’ll have strong cutting, measuring, fitting and assembly skills, attention to detail and safe working practices.
