Job summary

Advanced Personnel is seeking experienced Fabricators / Welders for engineering and manufacturing opportunities across Invercargill.

You’ll work with MIG, TIG, ARC or FCAW welding, read engineering drawings, and perform cutting, measuring, fitting and finishing tasks while maintaining safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' fabrication/welding experience.
• Relevant trade qualification.
• Experience with MIG / TIG / ARC / FCAW.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Structural steel, heavy fabrication or manufacturing experience.
• High standard of workmanship.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating steel components and structures.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

We’re looking for tradespeople experienced in MIG, TIG, ARC or Flux Core welding, steel fabrication and reading engineering drawings. You’ll have strong cutting, measuring, fitting and assembly skills, attention to detail and safe working practices.
