Job summary

Waimakariri District Council – Rangiora Airfield is seeking an Airfield Manager and Safety Officer to lead safe, compliant operations for this valued community asset serving recreational, training and general aviation.

You will provide aviation expertise, oversee safety and risk, coordinate maintenance and assets, and work with users, leaseholders, contractors and regulators to support current operations and future development.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation, asset management or infrastructure operations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance programmes or projects.
