Placements24 is recruiting an Aircraft Cabin Mechanic for our Queenstown maintenance team. The role involves servicing seats, galleys, and cabin systems to ensure passenger comfort and safety, with emphasis on compliance with aviation standards.

You will diagnose and repair cabin components, work with IFE and electrical systems, and maintain thorough maintenance records in a dynamic, scenic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in aircraft maintenance is beneficial.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabin maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing cabin systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair aircraft cabin interiors (seats, overhead bins, galleys, lavatories, carpets).
• Troubleshoot and repair IFE systems, lighting, and other cabin electrical components.
• Perform scheduled cabin maintenance checks and address wear and tear promptly.
• Ensure all cabin modifications and repairs comply with safety regulations and airline specs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel for efficient workflow and timely turnarounds.
