Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking a Management Level Manager to lead AI adoption initiatives for clients. You will work with boards and senior leaders to translate AI developments into practical strategies, design governance, and enable workforce upskilling.

The role emphasizes client-facing delivery with a focus on responsible AI and governance. You will mentor teams, develop repeatable playbooks, and stay ahead of AI trends.

Qualifications

• Experience at or readiness to operate at Manager/Senior Manager level, owning engagements and client relationships.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills for executives and boards.
• Ability to explain complex ideas simply without losing substance.
• Genuine passion for technology and helping others use it effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Executive Education sessions for boards and senior leaders, translating AI developments into practical business language.
• Lead hands-on AI upskilling sessions using enterprise AI platforms.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities across finance, accounting, tax, legal, risk, operations.
• Facilitate AI strategy and Responsible AI workshops to set priorities and adoption pathways.
• Help clients progress from prompting to research tools, agents, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Redesign workflows with client teams to optimize people and AI mix.
• Design and test human-led AI assistants with appropriate controls and oversight.
• Stay current on AI developments and translate into practical client advice.
• Develop reusable methods and training materials, coaching junior team members.
