Westpac New Zealand Ltd. is seeking a senior leader to manage a cohort of Agribusiness Relationship Managers and embed a strong team culture across the region.
You will focus on coordinating workflow, developing capabilities, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes while partnering with the Head of Agribusiness on strategy execution and risk management.
Manage a cohort of Agribusiness Relationship Managers (RM’s) and be instrumental in developing and embedding a strong team culture. You will manage workflow and capacity whilst building capability, both technical and soft skills, ensuring you role model change whilst ensuring activities and behaviours are at the required level. As the face of Westpac Agribusiness and Westpac you will work closely with the Head of Agribusiness on strategies and leading the execution of these. Exceptional leadership will see you manage Risk and Compliance disciplines, people KPI’s and be responsible for performance management, recruitment, development and succession planning for the region.
You are an exceptional people leader with demonstrated success in motivating people to do their best, with the ability to create a team culture with a growth mindset. You can mobilise a workforce to achieve best customer outcomes utilising remote working tools across a geographically spread team. Deep understanding of how individuals are performing and what engages them Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills and can communicate with credibility Ability to structure and negotiate complex deals and effective at communicating your knowledge Proven best customer outcomes, problem solving and planning skills. Sound knowledge of product & pricing, compliance, credit risk and security documentation, profit and loss The ability to recognise areas of opportunity, to adapt and innovate and to drive productivity improvements is imperative.
