Job summary

sKids in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a Programme Assistant to support Tamariki after school with fun, safe activities. You’ll work a minimum of 8 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday, with shifts from 2.30pm to 6.00pm and possible school holiday hours.

Join a friendly team, help keep spaces tidy, and run energetic sessions while spotting any issues for your manager. A 50% discount on selected programmes and referral bonuses are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Can get to Grey Lynn site with reliable transportation.
• Enthusiastic about working with kids – babysitting, coaching, volunteering counts.
• Reliable, energetic and keen to make every session special.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities.
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children.
• Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing.
• Spotting hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager.
