Job summary

sKids, a New Zealand after-school programme provider, is looking for a Programme Assistant to brighten the afternoons for Tamariki. You’ll work a minimum of 8 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday with shifts from 2.30pm to 6.00pm; holiday programmes may extend hours.

Qualifications

• Right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship).
• Able to reach Grey Lynn site with reliable transport.
• Enthusiastic about working with kids – babysitting to coaching counts.
• Reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities.
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children.
• Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing.
• Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported.
