Rocket Lab in Auckland seeks an Inventory Specialist Intern to analyse storage efficiency across our warehouse network. You will collect data, calculate part-to-location ratios, and visualise saturation hotspots to improve retrieval times.

You’ll collaborate with warehouse teams, develop actionable recommendations, and participate in pilot reorganisation efforts supporting rocket production. This internship offers real-world logistics experience in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in data accuracy and Excel for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data and calculate part-to-location ratios across warehouses.
• Develop visual tools (heatmaps, dashboards) to highlight saturation levels.
• Propose systematic improvements and an action plan for reorganisation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to validate findings and gather feedback.
• Prepare documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
