Christchurch Engine Centre, a Pratt & Whitney and Air New Zealand joint venture, is recruiting Level 4 Aircraft Tradespeople to support MRO expansion for the PWGTF engine in NZ. Based onsite in Christchurch, you will work rotating day/night shifts with overtime opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a NZQA Level 4 trade, 3+ years in aerospace/mechanical fields, and the ability to read manuals and follow procedures with high attention to detail.

Competenze

• Trade qualified with NZQA Level 4 or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in aerospace, automotive or related fields.
• Able to read and follow technical manuals and drawings.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks and shifts.

Mansioni

• Work at designated stations within assembly or disassembly with induction training.
• Operate tools and equipment for engine assembly, disassembly, inspection and maintenance.
• Carry out engine work per manuals and customer requirements with precision.
• Interpret manuals and follow work instructions to ensure quality.
• Meet timelines to deliver engines to testing and back on time, safely.
• Maintain SAP transactions and update works orders accurately.
